The Paramitha project was a Bodhi Pooja organized by the Leo Club of Mahanama College in collaboration with the Leo Club of Nawala Metro to mark the beginning of a successful and prosperous Leoistic year in 2025/2026. The two Leo Clubs came together to organize this spiritual project at the esteemed Maharagama Mahamegaramaya temple. The event was held on the 6th of July from 4 PM onwards. With the support and guidance of the resident monks, the Bodhi Pooja was conducted to invoke blessings for a fruitful year ahead for both clubs and for Leo District 306 D7.  

The Scoliscious awareness program was organized by the Lions Club of Nawala in collaboration with the Lions Club of Nawala Metro and the Leo Club of Mahanama College. This impactful initiative took place on the 12th of July at the Buddhist Cultural Center, aiming to raise awareness on scoliosis and related health concerns. The event was graced by the presence of the District Governor, Lion Gaya Upasena, whose participation added great value to the program   

The Eye Camp is a health initiative organized by the Leo Club of Mahanama College, focusing on Vision Care, Health Awareness, and Preventive Healthcare for young students. This project aimed to promote early detection of vision problems, educate children on the importance of eye health, and offer continued access to eye care services. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Lions Eye Hospital on 22nd August at the Primary Section of Mahanama College.  

The All-Night Pirith Chanting Ceremony organized by Leo District 306 D7 was held on 2 August 2025 at the Leo Activity Center, Colombo 07. The event was conducted with the noble intention of invoking blessings for peace, protection, and well-being for all.

The proceedings began with the traditional offering to the Maha Sangha, followed by the continuous chanting of Pirith throughout the night. The recitation of the timeless verses, such as “To those whose minds are steadfast in great virtue, no fear, danger, calamity, or misfortune shall befall them. This is the protective blessing,” reminded all present of the strength found in virtue and unity. 

Project බලාපොරොත්තුව Phase 01 was organized by the Leo Club of Mahanama College to provide a mindful and relaxation session for pediatric cancer patients at the Indira Cancer Trust. The main aim of this initiative was to offer children a safe and joyful environment where they could temporarily escape the stress of treatment while promoting emotional and social wellbeing.
